      PaNBEMS (PA Narrow Band Emergency Messaging System) is looking for one additional NET CONTROL operator to take one weekend per month for the PaNBEMS, Sunday mornings at  0730 hr EDT  on  3583.0 kHz (vfo)  using the Fldigi mode  THOR22. You do not have to live in PA to be one of our net control ops.

      You pick the weekend, as our ncs ops are able to cover for each other when one is busy with family stuff or holidays.

      Requirements:  volunteer one weekend per month
      You do need a decent 80m horizontal wire antenna for NVIS propagation and should have a power of 25W or more.

      Most of our ACK during check-ins with THOR modes are by macros so you do NOT need to be a fast typist.
