I found an online (Zoom) Amateur Radio Operating Class that perhaps some other club members might find of interest. It meets for 11 sessions, on Zoom every Thursday night 6:30 – 9:30 pm., from tonight, April 4, through June 20 (May 16 is skipped). It is free, the reading is optional, there are no tests (Yay!), and you can pretty much just attend the sessions for the topics you are interested in. The following are the topics that will be taught:
Apr 4 All About Operating, Amateur Radio Organizations, Ham Radio Awards
April 11 DXing
Apr 18 VHF/UHF Weak Signal Work and “Roving”, Fast Scan TV Operating
April 25 Remote Station control over internet, CW in the no-code era
May 2 Contesting, Logging Software
May 9 Digital Modes
May 23 Amateur Satellites, Portable (backpacking) operation
May 30 Propagation: HF and 6 Meter Propagation during the next 3 years near the solar max
June 6 Public Service, EmComms
June 13 Lightning Protection and Grounding, Traffic Handling
Jun 20 Setting Up a Modern (or not so modern) HF Station
If you would like more information, email K3RA roland.anders@comcast.net. He will send you the signup link and other information for joining the sessions.

Thanks for sharing, Carol.
