The Delaware Lehigh Amateur Radio Club will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at its W3OK ham radio club station. Everyone is welcome to come see and even operate a radio (with assistance!) as well as learn more about ham radio. We will have demonstrations of different types of radios and styles of communication.
World Amateur Radio Day, held on April 18 each year, is celebrated worldwide by radio amateurs and their national associations, which are organized as member societies of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU). It was on this day in 1925 that the IARU was formed in Paris. American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Co-Founder Hiram Percy Maxim was its first president.
DLARC’s station is located at 14 Gracedale Avenue, Nazareth PA, in the milkhouse of a former dairy farm, at the rear entrance to the Gracedale Nursing Center complex. Look for the antennas! We hope to see you then.
